Membership dues to Salt Payatas are tax deductible.

On May 16, 2016, Salt Payatas became an “accredited NPO” from Fukuoka Prefecture in recognition of its high level of public interest and the appropriateness of its business activities and organizational management.
As a result, donations to Salt Payatas and supporting members are tax deductible up to approximately 50% of their membership dues, and are eligible for preferential treatment such as a donation deduction.
