Support for Women

Livelihood program

We want local mothers to find a safe job instead of picking up trash. This is why the Women’s Income Enhancement Project was started. The mothers are able to earn a stable income through the production and sale of their embroidery products and use the income to send their children to school. Loretta, the leader of the group of producers, is already working on her next dream: “To make the Payatas famous as an embroidery town instead of a trash heap.

Workshop for mothers

I want my child to get a good education and achieve his or her dreams. I want my child to get a good education and to do everything I can to make that happen.” This is the dream of all mothers. However, mothers are so busy with household chores and work that they don’t know how to deal with their children. They worry about how to deal with their children, and they suffer from not being able to tell anyone about their worries. We hold workshops for such mothers to learn about parenting and to share their concerns and daily life with each other.
